Hey guys, thank you so much for this year. It's meant a lot to me, because in the face of all the badness of 2020, you guys made this channel grow. See you next year! <3
Oh yeah, the question! What's your favorite weapon from any Zelda game?

Zelda, having sent Link back in time and noticing that her timeline hasn't ceased to exist or anything: "Aaaaand Multiverse Theory it is. Shit."

Wind Waker is all about the villagers trying to recreate the Hero. The children wearing the tunic when they come of age is a great example of this. It makes perfect sense that the master sword would also be created.

Ganandorf: You can't defeat me with that "Darkness Sealing" sword!

Zelda: *realizes* Ah sh*t. I forgot to take the sword back...

I always thought that the reason the Master Sword didn't appear in the temple of time dungeon (past section) in TP was because the moment you travelled to was while the hero of time was off doing stuff in OoT and you just sorta slipped in and did the (never finalized) light temple for him, since there was always supposed to be a light temple in OoT but was scrapped due to time constraints which is why Raru just hands you his medallion when you wake up.

I still believe that WW Link was not the "chosen" hero but he was kind of forced into it.

Every time I watch a Zelda theory, I look at the world of Zelda different

The fact the Wind Waker Master Sword could be a faux is mind boggling. Good video to end the year on :)

i always assumed little continuity issues like how the master sword is depicted were just kinda in line with art style differences, because typically in the more realistic looking games they keep the master sword looking the same and usually when its depicted as looking different it happens to appear in a very cartoony game like link between worlds or windwaker

It makes sense since the rest of the timeline has other legendary blades that take the sword's place, both in a game play and lore way, the mortals needed a new sword of evil's bane, so imitations were made.

We see a new master sword type sword made in Phantom Hourglass. Link finds sacred metals, a blacksmith makes the blade and the Ocean king forms it into the Phantom Sword. So it isn't that crazy to say that the sages made one too.

There's also the question of Lorule's Master Sword, which *might* be Ghirahim/Demise's Sword due to his sword looking like a copy of the Master Sword, but with an upside-down Triforce icon (which matches Lorule's upside-down Triforce).

To quote Ganondorf: "If I had a nickel for every time someone used a different Master Sword on me I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice.

This is actually one thing I've noticed that isn't talked about much. The "adult" timeline is actually the original timeline, the one that Link first woke up in and started his adventure in. The child timeline was a deviation from fate.

EDIT: another thought for you all to dance with: the timeline split doesn't actually happen when Link pulls the sword, it happens when Zelda sends him back at the end of the game. That's the moment the child timeline starts.
