If the word ‘tactical’ is in any product I buy I have the opinion that it’s a 50/50 chance of being half decent or just terrible. It’s just showy “tacticool” stuff that makes you feel like a badass when you’re a kid but is the kind of thing that is just awkward to own when you’re older.

The only good scene from this show I saw called "Daybreak" where the MC tries using a mall katana to cut off someones hand. It got stuck in the thumb joint and the guy that got cut ran away with it still stuck in his hand

Honestly I'd buy one just for the sheath. Then take it to an actual blade smith and have them forge it using the crappy stainless steel ones as a sort of guide. Then I have reliable survival katanas that won't break and have a nice sheath. Win win.

Kinda find it funny when mentioning the small tang, it like cuts very quickly as though saying a bad word.

This is why i prefer my ax. Even if the blade is a little dull, with the weight and power behind it, anything you target is gunna be in two pieces one way or another. Just sometimes the cut isnt very clean and smooth
