-GarlicOS has been updated and the content of the video will not be 100% accurate, when copying the folders for roms make sure to copy over CFW, ROMS and BIOS into the appropriate partition.
-Make sure your SD card is in FAT32.
-The battery indicator isn't working right now, on average you'll get 4/5 hours of play time.

Just picked this up the other day since it looks great for someone who doesn't know anything about emulation besides brief sessions on my phone. I was a little disappointed about feedback I read about the software and saw comments about onion and another program so I'm glad to see an alternative out before my console arrives

I was really hoping for the fast ROM switcher that is present in Onion OS. Is it in the plans for future development? I get the whole recent menu deal serves the purpose, but the graphical UX experience is special on Onion. Perhaps the option to take a screenshot when making a save state in RA is there like on the desktop version would be a compromise?

I don't know what it is but, Windows 11 is extremely buggy when it comes to showing the folders. I flashed the img and pulled the card out and back in and, it only showed 1 drive. In disk management it shows all the available ones that are on the SD card. No clue why its doing that. Tried different card readers, different SD cards etc etc. Maybe that's why I struggling to get this to work. Almost ready to give up.

When I put the card in the console and start it up, It has no issues loading GarlicOS. Now I just have to figure out why the hell windows isn't showing the drives.

I think I fixed it though (Who knows with Windows). Had to go into disk management and assign drives to each partition. Basically just needed to mount the fat32 partition and shows up finally. Hopefully the rest of the tutorial works!

Found another weird bug or something. The folders "BIOS" "CFW" and "Roms" were in all separate folders on the G: drive. Completely different than how you were setting it up. Had to move "CFW" back into the "Roms" Folder, and back into the G: drive lol. Not sure why its soooo different that how I'm setting it up. Maybe you have an old version of the Garlic.img file?

Thanks for making this, Aish. I had just finished figuring it all out when you published the video lol. I needed the tip about where to put the bios files shown on a screen before I realized I was doing it wrong. I am having one small issue though. I didn't seem to get my save files or saved states to transfer from the Anbernic OS into Garlic. It's not the end of the world if it's not possible, but it would be convenient.

ATTENTION this tutorial is outdated. The current folder structure of the "garlic OS" image is different from what is shown here in the video. If you copy only the contents of the ROMS folder, then the CFW and BIOS folders will be missing. Anyway thanks for the effort.

Now that exists a custom firmware for this handheld, i'm considering buying it, but I am noticing how fast the battery drains while you are recording it, that really worries me, could you talk more about battery duration on this device, on a future video?

was upgrade to garlic os..then now many of games lost..i dont know what im doing..just follow instruction carefully..and yah i lost many games in it..and double the list..dont know to fix it
