I am pleasantly surprised they now have themes specifically for the Anbernic RG35XX. Just got done scraping box art and adjusting the ratios and text in my files so they display properly and now I will be able to have a cool theme. I've gotten a lot done on my first day and I haven't even played it yet I'm excited! Your videos have really helped and I appreciate it. 🙏

I am new to all of this, but this is a great video and it is as easy to change themes as shown here. Most of the onion os themes seem to work too, so there's loads of options

To fix the missing A and B icons in this theme, just copy the originals back over into them allowing it to overwrite.

why doesn't the menu have lag input. any theme i use has lag input and i use the latest version of GarlicOS

Alternative versions of MAME

Patiently awaiting delivery of my RG35XX, a friend has advised to install Garlic OS and the Tiny Best Set: GO! For emulation.

I can see that this uses MAME 2003+, there’s some games, for example Street Fighter 3 Third Strike that don’t exist/won’t run on MAME 2003+, I’m trying to find out if other versions of MAME can be added to run ROMS that won’t run on MAME 2003+, I can’t seem to find how easy it is to install alternative/other versions of emulators on the device once its running Garlic OS.

Isn't there an easier way than editing all the icons? Like changing the system font color to black for instance or something? I dunno, just wondering.. Just got my 35xx a couple days ago so starting to wonder how to change things..

I have problem loading PCECD, SEGACD and ARCADE games on GarlicOS can you help?And yes I have put the bios files and the roms are '.chd' format. Would be greatly appreciated with your response.

IDK why but my RG35XX after using Garlic OS, the battery status always at low, even I charged it all night, It's the OS problem or the device hasn't taken charge. Beside of that, PS1 emulator runs quite laggy and NES emulator doesn't run at all (crash on every click). Any good advice?
