I have looked at a lot of videos about fixing my USB, and yours has given me the confidence to try and do it. I have procrastinated for months, and now I bought a soldering gun, and it came with flux, and solder (leaded) and I bought unleaded just in case. Plus I bought stripped pre-cut wires to use for my Black-Green-White-Red wires. Hopefully my next post will be successful and soon!

hi tampatec, do u have videos about findings or test shorted and ic, mosfet in a motherboard computer ? is there a technique how to determine those bad circuit components even it is not unmounted to pcb? anyway your video tutorials are amazing. I really like to watch and listen to it.

sometimes I think people may accidentally hit the thumbs down, or they're just trolls.
The light on the iron is a nice feature. I think I wouldn't use the drive for anything important after fixing it - good for transferring stuff, but wouldn't want to use it as archive.
