As an introvert, I can clearly say that for us communicating is a big deal and I am practicing and doing that a lot nowadays it's just my awkwardness around a group of people jeopardizing my communication skills, I have been learning English since my childhood and still I am afraid to speak in front of peoples whether it's a group assignment or what I am a good student (you can say) but still mostly I feel good when I speak with someone, not in a real-life like in a chat or something like that but that can do it, if anyone is interested to practice with me through chat I am very happy to do that but not in real life ( i know it's a mess)

Thanks Veronika, I was introverted; I was too shy to speak English. But that's the past; after all your tips and help, it's not like that anymore. I now have friends with whom I can talk for a long time. Every little mistake helps me get better 😊

in brief:
The video offers various tips and insights for introverts who are learning foreign languages.
1. **Shadowing Technique**: Veronika suggests using the shadowing technique, where learners listen to a native speaker and repeat what they say. This can be done using podcasts, audiobooks, movies, or videos with subtitles. She emphasizes the importance of understanding the material and mimicking the speaker's pronunciation and intonation.

2. **Advantages of Being an Introvert**: She argues that being an introvert is not a disadvantage in language learning. Introverts tend to internalize and process information deeply, which can be beneficial for learning languages. She encourages introverts to leverage their qualities for language learning.

3. **Her Podcast - The Bridging Borders**: Veronika introduces her podcast, which she co-hosts with Sam, a native English speaker. The podcast is recommended for intermediate to advanced learners and covers various topics, making it a useful resource for language learners.

4. **Recording Yourself**: She advises recording yourself speaking the language to analyze pronunciation and track progress. This also helps in building a library of your language learning journey.

5. **Written Communication**: For introverts, expressing thoughts in writing can be more comfortable than speaking. Veronika suggests journaling and using messaging apps as a way to practice writing in the target language.

6. **Staying True to Your Goals**: She emphasizes the importance of staying true to your personal language learning goals, whether they involve speaking fluently or understanding a culture better.

7. **Solo Travel**: Veronika recommends solo travel to countries where the target language is spoken. This can be a powerful way to immerse yourself in the language and culture.

Throughout the video, Veronika shares her personal experiences and encourages introverts to find their own path in language learning, highlighting that it's possible to learn and speak a foreign language effectively as an introvert.

Hey Veronica as an introvert I find it very strange to talk to people Yes. I'm a bit quiet and I don't share a lot of what's going on in my mind. But it's not that I'm afraid to. It's just that I don't often feel the need to. I don't share everything that crosses my mind because I know better than to believe everything that crosses my mind. I need to take my time. I need time to observe, to assess, to understand, and yes even to correct my thoughts before I let them flow out into the world. I need time because I understand and respect the power of words. So no, I don't speak often and I don't speak loudly. But at least you know that when I do speak, it's going to be something I feel I really understand, something that excites me, that I believe matters, and that sounds true to my soul because to me, that's what speaking is actually for.l have aquestion for you Veronica is it wrong to be alone??

I swear to God, if someone helps me get a solution to my problem in speaking skills, I will master the English language within a year, but it's not that easy, I'm not saying that I have normal speaking problems like many other people, I searched for a solution everywhere.but everyone online says just practice with yourself or with native English speakers, I tried many times to practice, my problem is that I can't have a conversation with many different words for example, I had a conversation with myself for 10 minutes and then when I listened to it and found that I didn't use a lot of different words, as if I overused a lot of words, instead of using other words to express what i was trying to say, another example look at this comment, i could have used other words instead of using some words in several times.

i’m an introvert too.
In my perspective, if your purpose of learning a language is to use it, you should directly live in it. Keep learning everything about it but forget you are the learner and you are the user.

Thank you, Veronika, for inspiring videos and great tips for language learning. As an introverted person, I have realized that for me, listening to my favorite podcasts has had a huge effect on my language journey, especially when I read along with the podcasts and visualize the concept of what I am listening to. It helps me a lot. I love writing and using new words that I have recently learned; I have always had that tendency to write my thoughts. Listening to songs with lyrics has also been beneficial; I learn many new idioms and expressions from songs. Actually, my main focus has been on input so far, especially listening. I think shadowing is a great idea for introverts when they want to start speaking a new language. An introverted person often speaks when they feel convenient, and I believe shadowing prepares introverts for this area. I decided to try it too. I think finding a language partner, especially an introvert partner for introverts, could be challenging, and on the other hand, it helps them to go out of their comfort zone. I am mentioning this because I am struggling with that. I don't know how much it could really be beneficial and work for me or not. Or maybe, as an introvert, I should accept whole responsibility and do it by myself, I mean using methods like self-talk and... By the way, I am trying different methods to find out which of them really works for me. What matters here is that I have made it fun for myself, and I really enjoy learning English. I am patient, and I just keep going and enjoy the journey.
