Your muscle doesn't break down every time you're hungry. That's a bit exaggerated.

I'm new to working out and gaining weight. This video made me realize that I have to prepare meals ahead of time. Always great stuff with Cam!

So much broscience, nuts are primarily a fat source not protein.
Also being 'hungry' doesn't mean your body insantly goes catabolic and starts burning muscle

Being hungry doesn't always mean your body is burning muscle. Many people have gained muscle mass and lost body fat by intermittent fasting.

the bro-science is STRONG with these two!

There may be some bro science going on here, but it's important to remember that it's all about what works for you. I think it's hilarious that people are bashing him on his diet when he has 6% body fat. Wether you agree with it or not, it's obviously working for him. Also, it's important to remember that he is running up to 10 miles a day in addition to lifting, which means has to take in alot more calories than your average joe.

Body won't burn muscle, it'll always burn fat first after it's depleted of glycogen.

Some say that person is still on hold.

Sorry, but calories in vs calories out is the equation to lose or gain weight, not meal frequency. You can gain or lose weight with one meal a day or 5. It comes down to whether you are in a caloric surplus or deficit.

These two guys have the exact same sounding voices.

Do you eat any fruit, or is it too much sugar?

For us normal folks, the protein shakes are unnecessary. The meal planning they are talking about is though. You want to avoid eating out as much as possible. Just eat sensible portions and include a protein in every meal and you'll be fine. Your food should be nutritious, that means no chips and pop. It comes down to calories in calories out when you want to lose or gain weight so make those calories count, meaning they contain actual nutrition.

worst advice ever, he doesn't have a clue about fat burning

2013, back when 7 meals a day was the go-to despite zero science backing it up.

Cam got to correct you there buddy where you said once you're hungry you burn muscle. Well dude that is totally wrong. Intermittent fasting has been shown to INCREASE muscle growth. Look into it. Search Jason Fung and autophagy. If you feel hungry all the time the culprit will be carbohydrates. Do a water fast then go onto a primarily carnivore diet - you will be shocked at the quality of your energy and the muscle growth. Big fan of yours btw!
