A professional pilot guided tutorial on how to do an RNAV GPS approach to LPV minimums. This approach is conducted in the Beechcraft (now Textron) Bonanza in Microsoft Flight Simulator. The approach used is the RNAV (GPS) Y RWY 6. The RNAV approach can be done in FS2020. I show how to do it correctly and how to make the RNAV GPS approach have a successful outcome. Very well done again! Your analytical and procedural style is a great source for flight sim beginners wanting to learn more about modern aviation. I just started an OnAir Career a few weeks ago. In Conjunction with Navigraph and your explanations it is a joy to fly AND understand how to fly properly and using the tools available. By the way - your landing was very interesting - especially the part about crosswind landing. Maybe you can do a tutorial about that topic in the future, too? I'd like to practice that.

Outstanding!!! You used Flight Mode Annunciator 😀 rather than slang score board! another point you stated verify what you selected on the flight control panel with what you saw on the FMA😀

Thanks. I was confused by the state of the glide slope indicator at times. Good to know it is a bug that will no doubt be fixed one day. I’ve yet to get RNAV approaches working in the CJ4 but will try this approach out to see how it goes.

RNAV approaches are the best thing ever created. At first, I thought there were more difficult so always tried to do ILS approaches. Than I realized my mistake. ;)

Thank you for a very useful tutorial. Just one thing which I picked up somewhere, but I didn't notice you include and that is that to hold your pitch at it's current value (say 5degrees), press the "FD" button. Hope this helps. Cheers, Richard.

Thank you. Been out of civilian flight sims for a while. Love the newer glass cockpits. Trying to learn to do things more or less correctly.
Tricky to do when FS doesn't give you all the right tools like charts, and in VR I can't look over at my laptop. Also tricky finding actual instructional videos. And of course they don't teach things in the correct order.
