My favorite way to use honey is to mix 1-2 tablespoons with plain greek yogurt, mixed berries and chia seeds.

I cut an avocado, I remove the seed then I fill it up with a good honey, and eat the mix with a teaspoon. It is just delicious!!😊

I love that you are doing a researched video on this topic. I've never been convinced that we shouldn't have honey. I buy raw local honey and use in my tea in mornings. I also use it when we are sick - has great medicinal properties. I also always have on hand manuka honey for when we are sick and wounds -especially strep and sore throats. Honey also helps gut. Helps keep me regular as well.

I eat local honey with Spanish Manchego cheese or mixed with natural yoghurt and berries. Also sometimes add it to marinades for salmon or pork. My n=1 seems to support the research findings for metabolic benefits.

Remember that fairly low heat destroys a lot of the nutrition in honey, you might want to let the tea cool down before adding it.

I don’t eat a lot of carbs. I do love honey tho and enjoy it sparingly. I add a small amount of honey to a small amount of butter for an after dinner sweet snack. It’s delicious.

Sugar lowers cortisol. That's how. Also increases thyroid hormone. Even plain white sugar will push T3 higher.
