You missed a big point. I've been using MMO since 1967 when my grandfather gave me a can and showed me how to slowly pour it down the carb of a car I had just bought. He was one of the carpenters working on the Port Chester factory many years before. I usually use MMO in the gas of all of my engines. It removes carbon build up in the combustion chamber and piston ring grooves. This frees up the rings and brings up compression. I've done this with about 10 cars over the past 40 years. I just used it in my Dodge Ram 1500 and noticed the oil pressure is a little bit lower when the engine warms up. I use 10W-30 oil and wonder if i should use 10W-40 with a full quart of MMO?

i have a 1955 ford fairlane with a 292 cu in, ,one of the old y blocks, ,,has a weak cylinder, ,,so i put in the one quart out of the 4 quarts in the oil, ,,its hard to tell tho, ,,i think i have an oil pump leak somewhere, ,then i put 4 ozs in the gas tank, ,,maybe not enough, ,,but im thinking its running better, ,,the weak cylinder has bad compression, ,,i dont know how much and my mechanic says its a matter of time it owuld need an overhaul, ,,but im thinking with the mystery oil, ,,the compression has improoved, ,,i havent done a test on it driving it seems better, ,runs smoother somehow, ,,is it possible i could be bringing this engine back to life ????

I mix 1.5 oz of marvel mystery oil and 1.5 Oz of lucas upper cylinder lubricant and run it in my fuel tank. No problems
