As someone rhat was in a weapons squad in 25th ID, the mk48 is silly hard to control in comparison to the 240. Thats one of many reasons the 240 is still relevant.

As a retired Army 11B, (former 11H), Ranger life is no damn joke, when you’re in that unit, there is no “off” switch, you are part of a high precision machine and it’s not for everybody, I wasn’t even man enough to apply for that.

1/3 troopers in a squad having a LMG is actually an insane amount of firepower, especially if the SL is running a DMR and they are opening every assault with a knock knock from a launcher
