"Folsom Prison Blues" has been on my list for years, and I'm happy to finally be able to check this one off. Johnny Cash obviously has the best version of this song but I hope I at least gave you something a little interesting to listen to. Thanks again for watching!

"Folsom Prison Blues" was originally recorded and released by Johnny Cash in 1955. Since it's release it has been re-recorded and covered by hundreds if not thousands of artists. Rolling Stone went on to name it one of the top 100 country music songs of all time. Personally, I'd love to know where he came up with the lyric "I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die..."
