was in folsom prison he saw Johnny Cash he said he was there when Johnny Cash sang this song, he also said that Johnny Cash told him to come and they both a glass of beer at the back of the stage he told me that but Johnny Cash told him when he gets out he better be in a good life not bad so my dad never ever did something bad after that I was born in 1975 so my dad came out the day after Johnny cash sang folsom prison blues he died in 2019 he will always be with me

I love ❤️ Johnny, he has a beautiful spoil, he never killed anyone he just wrote the song he just was busted for illegal drugs at the airport when he was young and he gave a lot of money to charity he was a very compassionate generous kind of man.
While he was in prison he was just writing songs.
Now Johnny is in heaven playing and singing blues music 😊

I once was a drummer in an amateur blues band. We adapted this song a little bit and played it at a gig at the local prison here in my hometown in Germany. Immates were really liking especially this one. I guess it's that kind of a song that speaks to you also if you don't understand the language
