My mother grew up in a third world country; she has been fasting all her life without knowing the importance of it. From the time I can remember she always eats one meal a day, sometimes she would argue with us because we used to encourage her to eat breakfast. She always says why do you want to eat when I am not hungry, now she is 99 years old without any major health issues-FASTING is good.

Big Pharma runs medicine.I am humbled by your courage to speak the truth. I take care of the sickest of the sick. What I have realized over 27 years in medicine is there are very often two kinds of patients. The first type take their health into their own hands and question the "industry". Yes, I said "industry", need I say more? The other type of patient gives their autonomy to the "industry". I am elated you did this video. I am actually surprised it was not taken down. My husband had a stent put in 3 years ago. His cardiologist told him he doesn’t recommend an intermittent fasting lifestyle. Told him it will give a heart attack. My husband before was doing 16/8 doing great. Now because of what his doctor told him he got scared. Going to have him watch this video. Also I agree it’s this country it’s all political and about money! I was born in Europe still have family there. In Europe they live a healthier lifestyle due to because the food is better regulated. Here we have over 1500 ingredients that are toxic not in Europe! It’s disgusting

I'm just starting the fasting lifestyle. I had been told how bad it is for you and that just didn't sit right with me. I'm a bible believing christian and we're told to fast, God is good so fasting has to be good. I'm so grateful for this knowledge that you are sharing! ❤

I’ve been fasting for 7 months. I am definitely less hungry. While it’s not a quick weight loss-I am down 21 pounds. I feel much better and less hungry plus my blood pressure is improving! My neurologist is thrilled with my choices.

Thank you for this video. I have lost 65 lbs. because of IF and keto. I was also able to decrease my A1c from 6 to 4.5 and get off my blood pressure medicine. Absolutely right, in regards to the hunger suppressants. I have Intermittent fasted for two and a half years, and I'm just never hungry, ever. My record has been 6 days, and I ate not because I was hungry, but because I felt weak. 24h? 48h? 72? Child's play. I'm never hungry, I just eat because I love the taste of good (healthy) food, and the 'ritual' of eating and making a meal. You absolutely can supress hunger for free! Start small, and eventually you'll be at OMAD (one meal a day), and once you hit that you can push the 24h mark, step by step you can train your body to never be hungry.

This is coming from someone who in 2021 couldn't LIVE without breakfast, breakfast was my favourite meal of the day, and the meal I most looked forward to. Now? I never have it. My minimum standard is OMAD, every single day. I will break fast earlier if someone is having a dinner/lunch event, or a colleague offers me lunch at work, but as a regularity, always OMAD.

I feel great, my mind is sharp, not tired, not hungry, never (never!) bloated, energetic, focused on work, stools (sorry) are clean, firm, easy to pass. Great hair, no diabetes, no fatty blood, ideal weight, you name it. Combine this with hydration and good sleep and you're golden.

And it's FREE! Not only that, but you will feel amazing.

I was already fasting when Fast Like a Girl was published, but it further blew my mind when I read it. Dr Mindy is the real deal!

From eating two slices of wholewheat toast with avocado, cheese and sprouts every morning to now doing sometimes longer than a 16/8 fast I don't feel hungry in the morning at all. I am also feeling more energised. Even my doctor commented on how I appear to have so much more get up and go. I haven't really lost weight yet but my muffin top is definitely getting smaller. I have a long way to go (need to loose more than 10Kg's) but since discovering this channel and starting to read Fast Like a Girl I know I am on the right path. Thank you Dr Pelz.❤
