Are you kidding? "most of Ukrainians think of themselves as Ukrainians not as Russians" LOL
Ukrainians never thought of themselves as they are Russians. These are two different ethnicities, even when Ukraine was part of Russia or Soviet Union and wasn't on the map, people who lived there were Ukrainians.
So much ignorance, almost insulting.

Why does he sound like a propagandist when he's supposed to be a historian? History didn't begin in 2014. As usual, there are many points of view but only some get told. To settle this we need to hear all sides.

Ukraine was certainly a state (United Soviet Socialist Republic of Ukraine), along with Belarus) when convenient for the USSR to gather added votes in the U.N. The Kulakization of the Ukraine (including the starvation of millions of Ukrainians) in the 30s certainly showed how fraternal these relations were. Nil. Putin stands on actually quite weak ground for any true student of history. Kiev? Didn't become part of the Russian Empire until 1796 following the second partition of Poland.

Crimea was given as a gift to Ukraine when they were United and strong allies. Ukraine wants to Ally with Russia's adversaries so the Russians repoed Crimea. Can't say that I blame them.

Not so much of a Historian, more of a military industrial complex spokesperson.

Invading America is called “equity”. Invading Ukraine is called a war crime. Let’s go Brandon!!👍🏽🇺🇸

It's so ironical because US, EU and UK did the same with Kosovo to Serbia and no one said a thing and now when Russia is doing the same its all of the sudden a bad thing which just proves that kiddo behavior of "Hey only i can do that, if you do it its not okay" hypocrisy in this one is huge xD and just proves that rules are not same for everyone and democracy and equality does not exist, it's just good old game of chess where the first to fall are the pawns (soliders and civilians) fighting for lies and ideologies of ppl in power. Some things never change. And about Ukraine, they should stick with Russia because the reality and the truth is US, EU and UK don't give a damn about Ukraine they never did, why would they? Just think about it for a second. They are just using the situation in their own advantage and that is all. And for Russia it's just protecting it's borders from NATO, as any strong and powerful country would do, they are the one being cornered, you dont see Russian around USA bringging weapons and making militairy bases around it..

Who was president and secretary of state in 2014. Oh, right Obama and Clinton, who sat back and watched Putin take Crimea which did lead to the mess we're in now.
