This would assume techs enter accurate info in a ticket. The team I work with can look at the same ticket and come up with seven different answers, and maybe one will work (assuming they even enter work notes).

You're helpdesk. The only thing you do is reset passwords that only take 2 minutes out of your 8-10 hourshift. 🤣🤣

This will either lead to a waste of money because end users still do not understand it or the majority of the help desk members will be laid off. After all, upper management finally realizes that they don't do much.

We had 1 ticket automatically generate every 10 minutes from one company since February this year, that's about 144 tickets a 24k tickets (if my math is almost 3 months back and forth with the software vendor to pinpoint 2 config files that were pointing back to an old SQL server. I don't think AI would have helped much?

I thought companies had this already. when you forget a password on a social media page and request a reset. You get an automatic email but what about corporate employees?
