Easy Simple Scrappy 4 Patch Chain | Use up your scraps!

This video was actually made a couple weeks ago. Sorry for it's delay. This is a simple 4 Patch manipulating fabric color placement to give this a chained look. You could use any combination of colors. You could really scrap this up and use every color in the rainbow to move those scraps out of your stash.
Cutting dimensions for the squares in the 4 patch are 2 inches
The large neutral square is 3 1/2 inches
You could make this out of larger scraps by using 2 1/2 inch squares in the 4 patch with a 4 1/2 neutral square in the block.

OMG I just had a :Duh" moment. I too have that ruler and I love it, but somehow it never occurred to me to use it to cut scraps as you showed. I am a new quilter though and have made two complete quilts and have two more quilt tops finished. This is great and I can't wait to use it to cut up my leftovers! I am a scrappy quilter to start with doing my own thing with fabrics I have fallen in love with and this is going to be so helpful. Your quilt design is a delight. Thanks for sharing! Hello ! LOL your kitty 🤗 I should get some shoe boxes . the more I sew the more scraps I get. Even when I'm sewing scraps 🤨 this is a fantastic idea, it looks very easy . LOVE this! I sew 2 1/2" squares as leaders and enders. I alway sew one light/low volume to one that has a stronger color/pattern, so these could become half of the four patch with the light square in the lower left side. Thanks for sharing this idea!
