The JBL flip 6 sounds are fantastic I keep it in the cart in the storage area near the front, I play 60 70s 80s oldies the sounds calm me down and I play some fantastic golf (just loud enough where you can only hear it in the cart)

I have the Flip Essential and I'm thinking of upgrading to the Flip 6. The reason I'm delaying is because the Essential is Stereo sound whereas the FLip 6 is Mono. My questions are: Since stereo sound is better than mono sound, does that mean that the Essential sounds better than the Flip 6? OR even with Mono sound, does the Flip 6 still sound better than the Essential? Does it make a big difference? Thank you.
