I own the Flip 6 and it is just amazing! Small, portable with a big sound. I can carry it to anywhere even in the shower. I attach the speaker to my backpack and I can go around with the awesome sound it has. I recommend to put the speaker in a corner for an enhanced bass.

as Caddy said they are both good however one has better battery life and the ability to charge your device while the latter is more portable. You can compare the two just as you can compare any other two speakers.

I still have the charge 3. Great speaker still holds a charge. There was a few months almost a year where it wouldn’t charge past the first 3 dots. A few days ago it randomly charged full. But I purchased the charge 5 about an hour ago and I’m on my way to pick it up

If your torn between a new Jbl, the charge 5 is honestly perfect in my opinion, bought it brand new mostly out of impulse because i love collecting and it was brand new at the time and i had no information about it other than the basic knowledge but man since than it was the best 200+ bucks i ever spent on anything for entertainment, just buy one i promise you wont be disappointed, the sound is awesome, the clarity and bass is almost second to none even with competitive brands, UE, Sony, Bose etc, mind you i dont have all of the other speakes in the same class all i know is the charge 5 is damn near perfect

Believe me, I own a black charge 5. As time and usage progress, the sound quality enhances. Despite its compact size, the bass is phenomenal. I have been utilizing it for three years with no complications, except that the rubber bands beneath the speaker have worn out.

You can’t compare speakers of two different sizes. Someone might have both of these speakers. You can’t be like oh well this speaker is better then this one that is smaller or larger. They are used for different use cases.
