EA is trying to act like they care about how much money we're spending. "We don't want people to have to start all over." That's a total cop out. People are still playing TS3 even though TS4 has been out for ten years, and it would be the same if they came out with TS5. We need a game that has the right engine from the beginning - not one that was totally retooled at the last minute. I want The Sims 5. I don't want some mobile micro-transactionay ripoff that'll be the final nail in the coffin for the franchise.

I dont even care about Project Rene anymore bc why r we not getting TS5??? Who even cares about multiplayer for TS4... I swear its like less than 5% of players that actually want it. Im just so mad at EA at this point

We’re probably not getting the Sims 5 because they don’t want to make a base game that includes weather, pets, etc. like every other life simulation game that’s coming out

The UI design is a dead give away. The big buttons to press with your fingers, yup, mobile game.

So we aren't getting the sims 5 but instead an online mobile game?
Do EA actually expect us to continue to play the sims 4 for another 10 years with how broken, expensive, and boring the games gotten already? And with better competition on its way!

EA is royaly screwing themselves and the fans over and its genuinely painful to watch!!
Either they are too cocky and expecting people to stay with them for another 10 years while theres newer and better games coming out because they assume they will stay on top or they can't be bothered and dont care anymore. (Tbh probably both)
