This has got to be the best, and most important, muslim/christian dialogue on the topic that's occurred in the last 20 years. I really wish Jay Dyer would agree to a formal debate on a neutral platform. Please, more discussions with orthodox academics like Dr Branson! They have the most logically coherent, and historically accurate, understanding of trinitarian doctrine.

قال الله تعالى : {ادْعُ إِلَىٰ سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ ۖ وَجَادِلْهُم بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِ ۖ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُهْتَدِينَ} [النحل : 125]
surah 6 verse 125
translation :
(125) Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided.

The Beau Branson objection : Muslims object to christians and the trinity because it implies multiple things that are not created in one hand but the muslims too have the Quran which is eternal and it's very similar to the logos.

The answer : Yes but the Quran is simply a token of an eternal attribute of God's speech (Kalâm ) not another being nor a second or theard person !

Sorry Dr. Branson trying to explain the trinity was so complex with all due respect, Corinthians 14–16: “God Is Not the Author of Confusion and yet we can't understand it, what chance explaining it to young kids.

Dr. Branson should try to read the Quran, he might find his answers. I'm sure he has lots of questions now that he is a Dr.
