I started watching your channel when I first saw your video on CNBC make it! I'm Nigerian as well and I loved everything about you. When you shared that you got a new job at google, I saw it as an inspiration and applied. Thankfully, I'll be starting with Google soon. Sorry about losing a Parent, I pray for strength! just wanted to let you know your videos are changing lives one step at a time. All the best!!

This video REALLY resonated with me. I’m in the same position as you were. Black woman in tech, looking to leave my company, and also just recently failed a Google onsite haha. I’m going to work super hard this next year with leetcode and hopefully when I interview again I’ll have better luck. Whether it’s at Google or somewhere else. :) Thank you for your videos

Super relatable video. Not in a technical role but I went through months of interviewing at my “dream” tech companies. It was worth it, I landed the perfect role at the perfect company.

I really resonated with you when you talked about sacrificing your social life for the sake of trying to get a job. I ended up doing the same thing in an effort to obtain internships that I really wanted, but this year I learned that it’s ok to take the time and enjoy my hobbies instead of working all the time, and I still ended up landing internships at the companies that I wanted :3

Im glad to see more sisters in FAANG. And you have an inspiring story so many people would have given up but you made it happen and you deserve 1000 salutes from me. And also you are a strong young lady.

I like how you shed light on the rejection letters, and that being a Black woman doesn’t mean your just given a job as “ haters “ will say. I’m sorry for the loss of one of your parents.Great story!

I’m so sorry you lost a parent. I just would like to say you are a huge inspiration. And that black girl in tech thing someone said… We’ll I applied for like 100 companies before I got my first opportunity, something like 5 responded, and only two said yes to me.

Thank you for being real. A lot of people glorify this career, interviewing and make it sound easy. Maybe it is for some. I appreciate the honesty, and I'm sorry for your loss.

"If you're a black woman in tech all you need to do is spell HTML and you're guaranteed a job." UGH!! As a white woman in tech I get a lot of the same comments, that people just hand out tech jobs to women because companies want diversity. DEFINTELY NOT TRUE! It took me months of applying/interviewing to get a job. I am so happy that you are making these videos and sharing your amazing experiences. Thank you <3

Your voice is so relaxing. You are truly a boss. No matter what you have been through you still always find a way to push through no matter what obstacles you may face.

Loved hearing you story! Really helps to put things in perspective. -The story about your commute was scary though. I really hope the person who was pushed isn't too traumatized.

i dont work in the tech field but i found this so helpful! i had a similar experience feeling burnt out in a previous role and the pandemic shifted my priorities and made me reconsider the type of work i want to do.
