Hungarians are currently voting in parliamentary elections. Nationalist Prime Minister Viktor Orban is being challenged by a united opposition as he seeks for his fourth term in power.

The six main opposition parties have come together on a joint list for the first time, looking to overhrow Orban's Fidesz party. The coalition is critical of Orban's close relations with Russia. When it comes to the conflict in Ukraine, Orban perivously voted in favour of sanctions against Russia but refused to supply military aid to Kiev.
