Having a great job is said to be empowering and the best thing ever because it makes people productive, good workers.

Having a well paid job is a wonderful thing as a woman. It has enabled me to keep my family afloat when my husband and had periods of unemployment (through no fault of his own) whilst still being a homemaker and attending to caring duties. It would be hard going to do this all the time, but when the chips are down you dig deep and get on with it.

There is nothing wrong with a woman having a job, satisfaction that she can contribute to the home if her husband doesn't have a top paying job and they can then afford their own home, or can give their children more education options, or even holidays (which gives them more life experiences)...women can also have some independence by being able to treat herself to something occasionally, she does not have to ask him for money, like most men just take for granted if they want a beer after work, or go golfing/fishing, etc on weekends...they can do it, they dont have to ask their wife for money!!

Everyone around me is constantly _fiending_ to have the top status, be the most manly, have the most sex etc and I see people putting down other people for not having that job, or not being promiscuous. Constantly in a battle with everyone around them. I'm my only competition. And I compete for more fulfilling things.

True bc Adam & Eve tended to the garden. Adam didn’t work alone. God provided all of his needs. The same is true for married couples. God will provide regardless if the job is “good” or not. Whats good is walking in his will. Both parties equally contribute something

I believe sometimes (not always) a good paying job may allow one to think more highly of himself and miss GOD’s Blessings by being greedy and miss out completely on the whole purpose you were given that job. Always, help others when possible!

he is contradicted with one of his talks. in that he said, men are providers. now he is saying that having a good job is nothing to do with being a man...if a man doesn't have a good job, he cannot provide, so, he is not a good man....simple logic...if you name men as providers you cannot say that being a good man and having a good job has no relations...

It’s not just about the job jobs came up because me and Kim Holler you want to traditional man without being a traditional woman when being a traditional man would imply you would have to have a job that could support your family. That’s the only reason people talk about jobs.

It's about good boundaries, being able to be a good and equal partner. I counsel couples and often have to teach women how to get their needs met in an honest empowered way. Men are just being masculine and are not good at equal partnerships, that's not their world. The woman must teach him in a loving way.
