In this video, which continues the "how-to" theme of a previous video in the series ("Quick Reddit Sentiment Analysis using R, RedditExtractor and SentimentAnalysis"), we collect data from a subreddit and use the R packages RedditExtractor, SentimentAnalysis, and GGplot2 to develop some elementary plots that examine the relationship between positive or negative sentiment and other characteristics of comments on the social media platform Reddit. This video is recorded for the undergraduate social science program at the University of Maine at Augusta.

I've just found out your channel and at a first glance it seems very interesting. I'm going to study in deep all of your videos. A greeting from Italy. :)

By the way, when I reference the GG in ggplot as standing for "Golly, good, " I'm just joking around. The gg actually stands for "Grammar of Graphics." The ggplot2 package was generated in order to systematize the approach to making graphics in R.

I really appreciate your videos and your thorough step by step process. It seems that the RedditExtractoR package has been rewritten and makes it difficult to follow along, especially with the comments content and applying sentiment analysis. Do you plan to provide a more recent video with these updates in R?

Thank you again for this helpful video. If it is possible can you please do one video on Topic modelling of Reddit data using R? Waiting for your next video.
