Robert Telles Keeps Head Down After Jury Determines He Should Be Locked Up for Life

After a Las Vegas jury found ex-politician Robert Telles guilty of murdering 69-year-old Jeffery German, the same jury later deliberated for a little over an hour to determine his fate. The jury determined and agreed that Telles should be sentenced to life with the possibility of parole.

Robert Telles is accused of murdering Las Vegas Review-Journal reporter Jeff German. After German had written several articles about Telles, a public administrator at the time, he was found stabbed to death outside his home in September 2022. Prosecutors claim Telles’ DNA was found under German’s fingernails. Telles has pleaded not guilty and says he was framed for the murder.

There was no admission of guilt, no remorse, lied throughout his trial, went through cartoonish lengths to conceal his identity during the murder, and still has not admitted guilt or shown remorse for the crimes he comitted before the murder.

So why exactly is he given the possibility of freedom in the future?
