Summer is here and the war in Ukraine has shown no signs of slowing down, in fact, it might be the perfect time for Ukraine to begin pushing back against the Russian military that invaded the country over a year ago. Check out today's epic new video that looks at Ukraine's options moving forward and if there is a chance they can take the offense to Russia, watch and find out.

“Russia knows it’s troops are scared SHITLESS!” first time I hear the narrator curse and it was perfect 😂

At the moment it seems Ukrainians are waiting to have sufficient air support to enable a coordinated counter offensive. Ability to slow down / nullify the Russian Air force will be a key element in enabling success.

My belief is that Ukraine has been waiting specifically for the GLSDB munition for the HIMARS/M270 to arrive in numbers. That will give them a 150km reach. Storm Shadow covering beyong that. With GMLRS covering up to 80km, 155mm howitzers out to 30km, 105/122mm covering shorter ranges, and mortars under that.

When they attack, it will begin with a massive TOT. High value targets blowing up within seconds, simultaneously. Then the ground assault moves in.

Everyone is always asking "What is the Ukrainian strategy? The Ukrainian strategy is to keep Russia asking "What is the Ukrainian strategy?!" And it's working to the T brilliantly.

Slava Ukraini 💙💛

The thing is, apparently people expect Ukraine to announce on social media throughout stories when the offensive will start while on the battlefield the infantry to appear on the top of a hill standing up while playing some drums, and shouting a war cry while holding up their weapons as if they were swords, and finally, running towards the russians while still shouting

Most estimates have the Abrams tanks arriving in the fall when the counter offensive is expected to have played out. The US built tanks would be part of
a major resupply of western weapons already committed to Ukraine, that would include F-16s, more Leopard 2s, and a lot more Leopard 1s and Gephards
taken from deep storage and being refurbished.

So I see it as Ukraine getting 2 shots, this summer and next summer, to ether drive the Russians completly out, or to make major gains in reconquered
Ukrainian lands to form the basis of a negotiated peace.

UK: so this is how you use these howitzers
Poland: we’ve both fought them before, you know what to do.
Finland: play polka music, it’s PTSD

Thank you Infographics Show for this video.
Could you make a video about the "Red on Red" attacks that are happening in South Russia? It begun in Belgorod, now it is a dozen of Russian cities and villages which are attacked by some Russian rebel fighters.
Thank you
Anthony

You forget the UK has already got Challenger 2, probably the best protected MBT, in theatre, Abrams will not get there until the autumn thanks to the Pentagon's dithering.

LRASMs are absolute monsters.

Not only are they stealthy, but they are completely passively guided using AI that combines GPS, inertial guidance, cross-section AND emissions analysis to independently identify targets. These things also de-conflict, ensuring that each missile assigns itself a unique target.

They are highly developed swarm weapons that can be used individually or as a Rapid Dragon deployment.

If this is Ukraine’s classified aid, Russia can kiss its Black Sea fleet goodbye. In theory, a massive LRASM strike could put the whole fleet on the bottom in one fell swoop.

You mentioned some of the contributions the EU countries have given, but forgot Sweden which is the main destributer of cv90 and many other important technologies. Including artillery pieces

They’re in the process of training for F-16s @14:37 some say it’ll be 4 months to train some say 8, some say 6. Then they have to set up their logistics more than likely in Poland and I think Germany but could be anywhere I haven’t found any confirmed logistics route so they won’t be around any time soon but they’ll be a game changer when they arrive like the HIMARS and storm shadow missiles

It's great seeing the world (for all it's differences) coming together and making a unified effort against tyranny, it's reminiscent of ww2

All is good but without air support and dwindling air defense this means nothing. Plus artillery doesn't discriminate

Unlike every other poster here, I don't come from a military background. My thoughts are that given that a successful counter offensive will require a massive amount of coordination between different teams, and given that the Ukrainians will be using equipment from different nations, it's going to be tough to pull off a successful counter offensive and break the Russian line. I guess communications between the different teams is going to be pivotal. Good luck Ukraine..
