I have the Bissell revolution pet dark blue 15489. I haven’t been able to find a video or information on how to remove the brush out. There are no buttons or screws that I can find. Help!

If only my ProHeat Powersteamer had buttons! I have to unscrew the cover for cleaning every time. It was in storage a couple years so the screws were seized so I used Ronson oil. It took some wiggling to finally get the cover off so keep trying. Yes this is an older machine, but who on earth would design it this way in the first place?!

Mine doesn’t seem to have two piece cover. It seems to be one piece? I don’t want to force it and break it. The model is 3686. Does this video not apply to my model?

Clean out the "nazzle" but not before you hear a "clank". Now, you are ready to "VAkooom" the 4.

I have that model and don't have release mechanisms to take out brush cover. The first cover did come out. But even when I unscrew areas it will not come out.

Why isn't this feature standard on all models esp the dual brush units? How am I supposed to clean by the rollers on the Pro Heat 2X pet revolution? It also leaves behind a dirty watery mess after cleaning as it drips to the floor when done.

I have Bissell pro heat pet carpet cleaner. It has revolution on it. The videos that show cleaning the Bissell is not the same as what I have. My carpet cleaner doesn't have an accessory door on it or buttons on it it push to open the nozzle. So what do I do????

What do I do if there is dried dirt and pet hair that has been there for a long time stuck in the curve of the nozzle? The clean out tool can’t quite reach there from the bottom and I broke it trying to get in from the top. I’ve tried inserting bottle cleaner brushes in the top and bottom as well. I’ve tried soaking it in warm, soapy water overnight before attempting to clean it out, as well. Do I just need to get a new nozzle or am I missing something about how to use the tool?

How often does this need to be done? Can I clean the machine and change the water once per month, or do I need to clean it every use?

The soap mixture isn’t cheap as well as feels wasteful to use a new mixture every small incident on the carpet.

Any advice?

My Proheat 2X Revolution does NOT have the little buttons to remove the brush cover. :-/
