Really great video guys! One tip, if someone doesn't know this: if you dont want to restart your terminal to reload your .bashrc, just type 'source ~/.bashrc'

I've been dicking around with debian based distros for over a decade now and never knew about bashrc. I feel like I've learned more from this channel and the comments than years of reading forum posts.

Working with the bashrc is definitely the best thing. It makes so many things hassle free and making a few functions here and there is neat.

This video style is a good demo of the right way to teach this stuff, instead of a long brain dump orientated lecture, you make it more fundamentally geared and therefore more explorative. Always do enjoy the long nitty-gritty vids, but this is perfect for beginners.

I have been messing around with using FreeBSD to make my own personal home server so that I can have some experience using that kind of server environment, and after switching the shell to bash, I was amazed. I had used Ubuntu as my main desktop OS before but never really did a whole lot with a pure CLI environment. I have to say though tmux BLEW MY MIND. I really have to thank you for showing that off because it has made my CLI life so much easier.
