What is Windows 10 S?

What's special about this new version of Windows 10?

So what I'm understanding is that Windows 10S is what you install on Grandpa's PC when he complains it's too slow.

It is also for old people who can’t go on the internet without ending up with ten toolbars, half a dozen ad popups and god knows what malware.

For these people Windows 10 S is a godsend, because they don’t have to worry about getting all kinds of viruses and headaches (Disclaimer: using Windows 10 S does not actually protect you from Windows induced headaches), because the only things that they can install are Microsoft approved sandboxed apps from the Windows Store.

Windows RT ran on ARM, so it's downfall was that it lacked the capability to run x86 software.
Now, we're running x86 hardware, but lack x86 software anyway.
