A look at MREs menu 4 Cheese & Vegetable Omelet

Here is a look at what MREs look like out of the pack. It was getting close enough on the date for me to cycle through all 24 of the menus. so that said the Calorie count is 1260 with 455 form fat..

First MRE I ever ate, and forgot to bring an FRH along. I tried to eat it cold but it was nothing short of revolting. Had to ditch the damn thing and never ran into one of those damned things again.

I never had the misfortune of getting one of those. I would trade almost any MRE for the Menu 12 Vegge Burger. I rank them up there with the Beef Stew, Chili Mac, and Jambalaya.

The cappuccinos are not on the recall list, It was only for the dairyshake powders.

Well it was edible, but the salsa helped a ton.. Gota say the granola with blueberries was off the hook... Sucks that out of all the meals (24) there is only 1 breakfast meal.

@Ifall4you94 The new menu is " Pork Sausage Patty, Maple Flavored" It has Granola Cereal with Blueberries and powdered milk, Apple Butter, Sausage with Syrup on the side, wheat bread Coffie... 100 times better then the egg omelet

What about the Apple Butter? No taste test? The breakfast menu looks interesting. They are hard to find.

You can actually STILL find the #4 CVO. Had one on a field exercise just a few months ago here on drum. Just as atrocious as I remembered from Benning.

@MsSpy The Apple Butter was the best part in this early 09 menu.. The egg was... well... not to good. The new 2009 menu 4 is much better.

Hardly anyone eats these. It's like the vomelette puked into a dry seal bag, sealing it, waiting for the next poor soul to the picking to be blue falconed!!
