Quantum mechanics mathematics often comes as a challenge to the beginners. The math of quantum mechanics is important to build a strong foundation in further studies. In this video, I have explained the operations of complex numbers and primarily on what is a complex conjugate. I have also explained the reason of learning complex conjugate and how, using complex conjugate, increases the simplicity in calculations. I have demonstrated a very simple example of a wave function and explained it.

Just FYI, the Greek letter "theta" (and "eta", as well) is pronounced with the long A sound as in the word "basic".

At 7:04, complex conjugate of 3 is 3, not -3, correct?

Please, check after 7:01, you have shown conjugate of 3 is -3, but it would be 3.
