Your video helped out A LOT!!!! It answered some very important questions I had with the idle boot temps in the bios and how long it takes to boot and the blank black screen at the beginning upon a cold boot. Thanks for making this video. It really helped out. None of the "influencers" would cover

PC looks great!
I got the 7900X, this same Ram, and a Rog Strix B650E-F Mobo bundle at Micro Center for Crazy deal. Paired it with a 7900XT, Deepcool HT720 Cooler, 2 TB Gen 4 SSD, in a Montech Sky 2 case for my first PC and PC build ever! I finally into PC gaming and I'm ever going back lol

my dude, i literally just got the same set up not 2 hours ago. I've never used AMD anything. Not CPU, GPU, Nada. Always NVIDIA and INTEL. Came across a Tower case, still had its coolant system, fans(8), RGB, power supply, and motherboard. Nothing else. I happened to have 4 AMD chips from 3-9. Last generation though. I decided if i'm going to build one, I might as well do it big den. So i bought the same board you have and the same chip. Then 64gb of Corsair RGB Ram 6000mhz, and a 2 Ryzen 5700xt's. I got a bad ass gaming laptop already, dont know why i spent all that money🤷‍♂🤷‍♂but When i put that chip in and felt that pressure pulling the bar down I hesitated for over 30 minutes. I didnt PULL it down and lock it until i watched you do it. They should NOT make it feel like i'm breaking it. Hope your set up is worked out. Fingers crossed mine does🤞🤞🙏🙏🤣🤣😶😶. I still havn't gotten to the test part yet. God i hope i din't waste a bunch of money

I thought my 50°C idle was bad, but you saved me some work :p - I have not done any tweaks to power settings

Same here, went to Microcenter, got the free G.Skill DDR5 6000 32GB kit with a 7900X and an ASRock PG Riptide B650E motherboard. Then there was a price drop so I returned the unopened RyZen 7900X and exchanged it for a RyZen 7950X at the register only requiring about an additional ~$25.

So, a couple of things here. I do have very long load and reload times, and long blank screens in the process. That is really my only problem left that I'd like to get fixed. Any idea how to fix those???
I'm running the 7950x on a Strix X670E-E, with 64gb of GSkill NEO and a RX 7900XTX. It's running about the same thing you are on R23, but I hadn't limited the power at all, only the temp. I do have my temps limited to 90c. Then I tried to set my PPT power at 185000, but my system crashed. So I changed it to a PPT of 190000 and that helped stable out my rig, and my temps went down to around 86-87c. Happy I got a bit of a lower temp when limiting the power. So thanks for this vid.

Nice video! Would of liked to see a step by step build video but still appreciate it. Love seeing Black content creators in the PC world. Just picked up a 7700X and an Asus Rog Strix B650E-F from MicroCenter and got the discounted price and the free ram too. Looking forward to the undervolting video as I have no clue how to optimize my setup and shave off a few degrees as well.

Thanks. I’m buying the same set up. And was worried about the temps

I have the exact same setup. It's my first solo build and the only thing I'm not sure about is how tight the pump should be to the cpu. The fractal s36 only had am5 standoffs in the manual so that's what I used. The pump is snug but I could fasten the thumb screws more but I don't want to break anything

My question is how often does or do you expect your system to peg out and hit the temp limits? Cinebench is designed to peg the system. I understand folks concern because it's been embedded into us that those temps are not good and I know it's going to take some time before folks feel comfortable with it, but if your system is not running constantly at 95C what is the concern? I'm going to give PBO and undervolting a go to see what I can achieve. But, I am not too concern about the 95C since the system won't be pegged all the time and hitting those temps. Also, that is how it's designed to work. So, I am going to let the CPU loose and do it's thing. Nice video.
