A Discussion of Quine's 'Two Dogmas of Empiricism'

"Two Dogmas of Empiricism" by Harvard philosopher Willard Quine is one of the most influential but controversial works of 20th century philosophy. Among other controversial claims, Quine argues that "atoms" and "the gods of Homer" are similar in that each are merely fictions that we introduce to organize the "flux of experience." Author Bryan Kam interviews philosopher Bryan W. Van Norden of Vassar College about this seminal essay. This was awesome! Fascinating and hugely informative. Re the first questioner …. There is a psychosis called parasitosis, a psychiatric condition, involving the delusional sensation of insects crawling all over one’s body. Was diagnosed with it. Treatable.

Too many incoherent presuppositions predicated upon liberal propoganda in this discussion. There were some good insights on Quine but much of this is unjustifiable liberal nonsense.
