Why Gryffindor at the end of the day is the *worst* Hogwarts house. Overrated, over-inflated, biased, arrogant bullies. Even in my eyes, Ginny Weasley acted worse than Pansy Parkinson.

Forget Snape and James. You can see the disappointment in Harry's eyes.He didn’t expect that from his father.I kind of feel bad for him.

Snape had an abusive father and a sad childhood. He grew up hearing about Hogwarts from his mother, he dreamed and hoped that it would be his escape and safe haven. But the marauders bullied and humiliated him all through the years, none of the staffs or students tried to stop it. In the books, in this scene, even Lily, his supposed best friend, only tried to stop the bullying half heartily, she even smiled a bit.

I felt bad for not only Snape, but Harry too, he held his father and such high regard, he argued with Snape calling him a good man, to the person James bullied, and then he sees this, wish we could have gotten more on how Harry dealt with this in the movies, just a little more, because we know he had to be disappointed that his father was a bully.

Wait I just realized, He says “Expelliaemus” and the kid next time him says “nice once James!”
Later on during Harry And Sirius Blacks fight against Lucious, Harry casts Expelliarmus and Sirius says “Nice once James”

This misunderstanding between these two actually breaks my heart any time I watch this since the first time I read that. Snape thinks Harry is like his father, when in reality Harry is very humble and wouldn't bully anyone

Snape was such an underrated character everyone hated and misunderstood. He was loyal to a woman who chose his bully over him, protected her child, killed dumbledore to save both Harry and Malloy…..this breaks my heart

This is really mind blowing. In the first 4 movies you'd easily get the idea that James was always a warm, kind-hearted gentleman; but then you see here in the 5th movie that he was an even bigger jerk than the Dursleys

Honestly, the fact that Snape was secretly protecting Harry meant one thing: he loved Lily more than he hated James. This wasn’t just the son of his mortal enemy, but also the son of the woman he loved more than anything. And he let his love overpower his hatred.

00:10 James' facial expression is very remarkable when he sneers. It shows how ruthless he is, watching Snape to squirm vainly upside down and enjoying his panic, though he hasn't started to take off "Snivellus' trousers" yet.

It's crazy that people take the side of bullies

Snape after this: "Gradually, I began to hate them..."

Snape's words:If it wasn't James, Lily would be with me or if James had lived Harry Potter would have ended up like his father.

I hate how much people love Sirius even though he was a bully (he almost killed Severus by pulling a prank on him)
