Boundaries: Those that moan, that you put up boundaries, are the ones benefiting, from not having any. Although it I isolating, I quite enjoy the solitude & as I get older, I need copious amounts of it. When others’ get obsessed, it’s a bloody pain to be honest. I find people seek my company, more than I do theirs, I don’t want to be distracted from my hermetic existence, with ‘meeting for coffee’ - hell, I can have one at home or I do not need to be entertained with the mindless drivel of celebrities or sports. Damn, I don’t belong in this world.

Nobody is obsessed with me. They take me for granted and when I finally move on, they want me back. Well, we all know what kind of people those are 🤔😅🙄 .

Boundaries can be painful at times. When we discern that it’s best to step away …not continue a budding friendship and that doing so will be in the long run more valuable, a gift really; a perception of seeing a better outcome for the other person, we grieve it while at the same time honoring our core principles being true to our authenticity is paramount. Leaving the future to adjust the angst to something greater than impulsive meanderings. Sounds rather cosmic and out there but INFJ will not “throw caution to the wind” act recklessly impulsively disregarding the risks or consequences. It’s a deliberate choice based on integrity. Preservation and wisdom, and yes we are complex deep thinkers but we act on what we know. Even when we can’t explain it …a friend of mine would interject “when you know you go”; ditto!
