I bought the same but the manual says you should place the scanner against the wall when calibrating. Do you know if thats correct? Because I see you calibrated it away from the wall..

Mine always says there is nothing even when putting it on metal

I'm a bit confused with pressing the button. You press it once at the start. Then are you holding down the button while moving it along the wall? I can't see this clearly.

This stud finder sucks. I have 5 holes in my wall saying it found center. Awful
