Immi claims to be a healthy, low carb ramen that's keto. I test my blood sugar response using Levels continuous glucose monitor to prove if that's really true. I love immi, eat it everyday. But i don't use the flavor packets. I blend mactha and pour it over the noodles or eat them plain. I eat about a six pack a day.

Its great to see that there are alternatives, except that it is 13 times more expensive :( As you know, I have been avidly watching your videos for months now, but I am wondering if there has been a comparison between CGMs? (I don't recall seeing one...) Do you have consistent results using different ones?

I eat the Immi ramen and I like them. They taste different then regular ramen, but over time the taste grew on me. I have found that cooking them at least 2x longer than suggested cook time improves the texture. I add a can of chicken and some type of vegetables like carrots, peas and green beans, but I throw in whatever I have sitting around. This way I end up getting 3 meals out of it. I also add some Srachi or garlic powder. If you buy bulk they are a little cheaper.

Can someone define what qualify as a "spike" if I'm starting from 85-89. For example is 115 a "spike"? Low Carb tortillas send me into the 140's

You have to stop demonizing carbs! You're a healthy young woman and your insulin is doing exactly what it should. I really like your videos, both your art videos and your fitness content, but this low carb is best thing is just not science.

most people dont eat ramen noodles because of the taste or nutrition facts, people eat ramen because i can eat dinner for a week on it under $5. its the cost and if immi is 6X the cost its a big failure. it should not be a win

I wonder what nissin vs maruchan would be. Nissin uses palm oil while maruchan uses vegetable oils.

I've been eating the Immi noodles for the same reason for a while and was curious as to the reality of their claims. I'm a big fan of their spicy miso flavor (why pretend to be meat flavored if you aren't). Thanks for doing the science for us pallys!

The fiber slowing other carbs can be true, but you don't/can't absorb carbohydrates from fiber. That fiber can be fermented in your colon into SCFA (Short Chain Fatty Acids) so you get some calories from them, but not from the carbohydrates directly.

I think testing how diffrent foods impact your blood sugar is a really fun thing to do and learn from, but lets not spread psudoscience plz.

Cup ramen is so terrible lol. Should have done the maruchan in the pot. Never seems to cook right in the cups.

Dr. Atkins introduced the concept of net carbs in 2002. For those who don't remember, in 2002 almost no one except Dr. Atkins was listening to the science and saying we need to reduce sugar and carbs. Pretty much everyone else, including the food industry, wer listening to the sugar industry. Net carbs on packaging can be misleading though because they often subtract sugar alcohols. Different sugar alcohols can affect different people in different ways. It might just give you diarrhea -- or it might act like real sugar.

Mr. Noodles uses artificial beef/chicken flavor.... I dont know if they're strictly vegan but its good enough for me.

Hold on that not ramen. It's a cup of noodle. Yes there is a difference. You need to try this again. But with ramen noodles.

Why is testing blood sugar after you eat important? Our bodies can naturally adjust blood sugar levels? (Unless you are a Type 1 diabetic or overweight)

No Ali, NO! I will NOT buy the ramen! I bought (and use) the toe separators. I even bought (and love) my SAUNABOX. Enough already! I will not buy the ramen.

But that glucose monitor sure looks cool...

I love immi! It's pricey for sure. I'm lucky that I am able to afford it and enjoy the meal without the guilt of damaging my body.
