Your pronunciation of Zealand isn't quite right! But otherwise it's pretty good!

it's still a bit too Australian to be honest, but still really good!

I would love to see you tackle the different range of Scottish accents. East/West coast etc

As a new zealander its very close apart from when you say "zealand" it sounded like your tongue went to sleep and i hear "Zalan" try saying "Seal" in our accent then replace with a Z and end with "lind".

NZ accent even! I love the way you make/accept these accents are about personas, are about world view. Been subscribed for a long time- never supposed you'd do our accent.

New Zealand

You should challange yourself and do a 21 day challange, keep one accent for the whole day to improve your normal conversational skills. 21 days/21 accents. do it!

Your accent videos are so fantastic and inspiring! Do you have any videos on the Trans-Atlantic accent? I'm a huge old movie fan and I would love to learn that accent for fun. I'm from Indiana, so my natural accent is very "normal" American. :)

I've said this before with Kiwi vs. Aussie! I've practiced both for years and have found culturally that while friendly people, Kiwis are more reserved compared to Aussies in their energy. And it shows in their pronunciation of their accent.

Surprisingly, kinda like America, there are different types of kiwi accents depending on where you go. South Island are much more stronger where as Auckland is more relaxed. South Auckland in particular sound VERY different to those in other suburbs of Auckland also.

With australian and new zealand (super similar) the sides of the tongue wedge higher in the upper mouth bridge and you pull out the vowels like taffy. The way to make it sound less restricted is let more air out of your mouth than usual when speaking and back it off until you can relax your tongue just enough for it to feel normal, and easy going. My favorite sentence to repeat in this accent is "THERE'S NO DOUBT ABOUT IT"

The accent is very upper class for New Zealand. It's spot on but most kiwis aren't that refined. Try loosening it up just a little and it won't stick out lol

As a kiwi, I would say this is really good, best fake NZ accent I've ever heard. Just maybe soften the way the sentences end and get a little lazier with it.

I just watched flight of the conchords a whole bunch and the accent stuck.

The New Zealand accent is very hard. I cannot even do it and I grew up there.

As a kiwi I often hear our accent is terrible and I didn't believe it until I saw You Tube clips done by other kiwis....shock horror our accent is awful lol.
Looking on YT for videos on how to improve my English pronunciation and I come across your video 😊

Just one question..can you do a what we call a Newfie accent. If you unfamiliar with a Newfie accent it is an accent from the people of Newfoundland and Labrador which is a province of Canada. That is where I am from and I too can do accents as well.
