my dad was once on a trip to america with us… he started telling the woman at the food stand how he was extending his deck. (most light hearted man in the world he wanted to cry after)

US here: The pronunciation here is spot on! I have to really actively listen when Kiwis talk, and usually, I have to ask them to repeat so I can try to figure out what they’re saying!
