I feel like the video glossed over some of the downsides of retiring in these places. There’s more to consider than just cost!

He lost me when he said in the first comments that the middle of Japan was affordable. Nonsense. I've been to Tokyo, Japan and it lives up to it's reputation as being very expensive. Maybe in the rural areas but then you are far from a hospital when minutes may count.

Good content, but I was hoping for more info on the visa process for retirees. Affordability is great, but can you stay long-term?

Interesting list, but the video didnt dive deep enough into the healthcare options in these countries. Thats a big concern for retirees.

I love the idea, but some of these countries have political issues that weren’t mentioned. Retirees should be aware of more than just costs.

I’ve been to some of these countries, and the cost of living is really low. Great content for anyone looking to retire on a budget!

Two countries in Asia are the only ones that I would STRONGLY consider retiring to:
Cambodia 🇰🇭 and, Vietnam 🇻🇳. With Vietnam 🇻🇳 getting more of "a nod" than Cambodia 🇰🇭. One of my personal reasons is the rural Central Highlands region. That appeals to me because the tranquility that can only be found in such locales. While it might be a bit of a challenge to live there. It's a challenge that I'm more than ready to tackle, head-on!!
Yeah. I'm seriously considering moving to Vietnam 🇻🇳, in the not so distant future!!

In Singapore you can work as part time with payment 2K/mn easily and the upset one is your cemetery.

While the idea is nice, I found the video a bit too optimistic. Living abroad isnt just about affordability—culture and language barriers matter too.

Japan any day for its rich cultural experiences and low cost of living

Impossible to live in Singapore on $960 to 1, 300 per month.

Singapore, Japan and Taiwan are good modern country but limited land traveling and camping especially wonderful rural and rain forest wild life. Probably boring. Japan and Taiwan lack of English speaking.

Thailand em afraid of social culture which is odd to children endeavor, traffic jam, air condition and lack of English speaking. Vietnam honestly, it is good developing country, friendly but be aware about the air condition and traffic jam, school and lack of English speaking. Home service wonderful.

Northern part of Malaysia totally extremist as you stay in Iran or Afghanistan, other part especially Southern and Eastern Malaysia is wonderful modern country with proper school, medical and hygiene, a lot of land traveling and camping in the wonderful rural culture and rain forest wild life

Indonesia n Cambodia undeveloped country where school, hygiene and health is upset. Bhutan is not in my mind as the country is lack of connection to other world perhaps still in third world. Philippine only comment I made is security, hygiene, traffic, homeless burger totally upset.
