I've been all over Romania multiple times. Such an awesome country. Food, people, taking the train around the country and specifically from Bucharest to Brasov. So gorgeous. Also backpacked backcountry south of Oradea with a local friend. Turns out backpacking isn't a thing in Romania. The regional train from Suceava to Botosani was the wildest transportation experience I've ever had. It was like riding a wild horse.

These countries seems cheap for us because we earn alot more than they do. For the people who lives there and doesn't earn much money, it's not cheap.

I absolutely love your videos and if I had to guess I probably seen at least a hundred and fifty of them already! I am 74 years old and from the United States but living in the Dominican Republic right now and it's time for me to go to find another place to live and I've been looking very seriously at some of these 10 countries, especially the Philippines!

I'm from Bolivia, no wonder it is so hard for me when I'm traveling abroad. I still remember trying to explain to a seller in Cambodia that even though I was a backpacker tourist, I didn't have the same $$$ as the other tourists :D. I felt like I should be charged as locals hehehe but well.
