In fact, recently a millionaire saga like Transformers "Rise of the Beasts" recorded the movie in the Peruvian Amazon, they spent about 5 months filming in the Amazon region of Peru, they chose Peru over Colombia and Brazil.

I have travelled to Peru, Brazil, Colombia, Chile and Argentina. But I like the trip we did to Peru the most. We travelled only there with a company called Inca travel. We had a really good chauffeur who took us to the most amazing restaurants and sightseeing!!

We live in Guatamala currently and love it. This is the 3rd Central American country we have lived in. The two cities you mentioned are nice but with LOTS of tourists….not for us.
We are traveling between Mexico and Argentina for the next 4-5 years in search of our favorite retirement city.
