This tragic scene is brief yet powerful and necessary to the entire movie.
Felicia sees Harry as The Green Goblin and realizes then that the vulnerable young man whom she loved and cared for is gone.
Harry sees Felicia through the glass as well as a partial reflection of the monster he has become, screaming at her to run away from him. Tragic and painful.
It was a mistake to delete it from the movie.

People won’t agree with me, but I never hated this green goblin design. It’s not my favorite, because that honor goes to Willem dafoe’s look halfway through no way home, but besides maybe the face (which i don’t even entirely hate) this goblin design is pretty great in my eyes.
