This was the plot of the Thrawn book, and it was a really good synopsis without giving too much away. Well done.

That was interesting. Thrawn and Palpatine’s relationship has indeed evolved from Legends to Canon. Thrawn is the best of the best among the villain ranks of Star Wars and I have a great respect for the Chiss. May he be remembered for keeping things interesting for the fans. (I still despise Darth Maul a bit)
