I suggest making a full base on atrox, sylva(obv) and vesania.
Atrox has EVERY gas except for 2 and vesania has the other 2. These planets also have THE MOST GAS out of every planet.
Sylva is obviously just because its the start planet.

Could you have the top 3 winners for the LRD visor competition get the three patterns? I think it would be better than just having one winner. First place could choose which of the three they want and then second place can pick from the remaining two. Then third place can have the remaining one.

honestly i dont even bother setting up outposts for gasses at all.. the atmospheric condenser can function fully unpacked slotted in directly to the large shuttle, and a large silo B has enough space for 6 medium gas canisters and 6 full size rtgs, providing just enough power to run the condenser without needing a landing pad and its power tethering capability, and just enough space for each type of atmospheric gas to have its own dedicated medium gas canister... when i need to stock up on gasses, all i need to do is take my large shuttle to the relevant planet, park it literally anywhere, and just leave the condenser running for a while while i either go exploring or simply take a break. all of the setup is in the very first loading of the shuttle to give it the setup, and then there is no futher setup or unpacking on any further visits to planets for gas. no need for platforms or a base of any kind to serve that purpose. not even a landing pad. just park it and give it time to do its thing. as for unpacking once i get back to my home base from a gas run, i typically just take the whole entire silo, rtgs and canisters still attached, and simply plonk it on the platform where my chemistry lab is located... i even sometimes make an identical, redundant silo with the same arrangement of rtgs and canisters attached, so that they can be simply hot swapped out like changing a pair of batteries in a controller. allowing even further efficiency of refilling the empty one while the one i just filled fuels the chem lab, if i so choose to take advantage of that possibility.
