ARE YOU TOO OLD FOR FILLER?

This is a good guideline for assessing whether a lip has aged too far for #lipfiller alone.

Every case is different, of course. Some patients are good candidates for a #liplift even before their lip has fallen beneath the edge of the top teeth.

But, once the lip has fallen well beneath the edge of the teeth, they are definitely no longer an optimal candidate for filling alone and should consider a lip lift.

What questions do you have about lip lifts?

Ahhhh... interesting!
I noticed in her photos that the mature Jane has almost NO filtrum!
The philtrum is the midline groove in the upper lip that runs from the top of the lip to the nose. A person with no discernible filtrum has a flat skin surface with no vertical ridge formation in the central region of the top lip between the nasal base and upper vermilion border.
I, too, have no filtrum, much to my everlasting distress...and the area where one should be is longer than normal and covers my upper front teeth. As I have gotten older and my lips have thinned, I find this facial characteristic to be very unattractive.
Can a natural-looking filtrum be created with plastic surgery? (I have always wanted one! 🥺)
I believe I would benefit from a lip lift, and some filler, at the very least.
