Started BJJ at 34. MMA at 36. 37 now, best I've ever been and always improving. Hard journey, humbling being smashed by younger guys, but the way I see it, quitting will never be an option.

I started at 67. I don’t care what anyone says or thinks. I’m still athletic and 6’3” and 215-220.
Of course I’m slower and and less flexible.
Who cares what anyone thinks. If you want to do it. Do it.
I’m getting in even better shape. I’m doing it for me.
I love it. I go to the gym 4 days a week. And train 2 days a week for 3 hours.

Thank you coach. I am just turned 27 and trained for a year. In 6 months, i dominated my first amatuer match, and in one year had the tko in the first 30 seconds . But i stay humble and train harder because i know there are people who have been training since they were in their teens.

I needed this video especially seeing your elder student dominating. So inspiriring! It makes me excited years down the road. It’s never too late to train! Never mind the outcome. Just enjoy the process.

Everything the coach says is true. I begun trainning MMA almost a year ago. I have never been in such a good shape in my life. I've gain a lot of strength, muscles and something that I never really had, cardio. It's been a blast so far and I'm even considering having a fight this summer. I don't intend to be a fighter, but I would like to test myself in a real fight and perform under true stress. I'm soon turning 25, by the way.

Agreed. Go in trying to be the best version of yourself.
Realistically, most of us won't be UFC ready competitors.
I started at 38, 2 years ago and it got me into the best shape of my life. Mentally as well when it came to problem solving and with increased confidence in general. Pick a good environment and good dedicated trainers, train with a great open attitude and you'll be alright.
I needed to hear this message.

26, finally taking training seriously. Minor experience, always used my busy life as an excuse. Feeling old to be relatively new, found this video.. thank you. Best version of myself sounds like a win to me. 🤙🏻

Just added MMA to my training and I am 50. Not trying to be a UFC fighter, but I am not ruling out stepping in the cage. But you are correct the training is rewarding enough

I'm 22, 5 now and I am training MMA for 2 Years now. I started with Wu Shu when I was 8 but it had little to do with actual full Contact fighting but it helped me in many ways even though I can't impliment it in my skillset completly so far (probably because I wasn't that accurate with it for 3 of those years). I had my first amateur MMA fight 9 Months ago and lost by TKO in the second round and 4 weeks prior to that my first grappling tournament (and first competition ever) in which i also lost both matches. I still train consistently 6 times a week and try to get a Job that allows me to train 2 times a day. My goal is to win a PFL tournament one day or at least have a solid MMA career that allows me to buy some real estate or make other smart investments to retire myself and my loved ones and build my own little Ranch with a little gym on it. My absolute idol is GSP cause he was smart, Kind and well rounded. Hopefully I will get to the top one day in one way or another.

I have the same approach and started some wrestling and K1 at 41. I did sport like gym or circuits before and that helps for sure. Many people keep trying to discourage me: why, what for etc. Just ignoring that BS and you know what - I won't be a champion or pro fighter but I will be happier, healthier and better. That's well enough.
