"Not a chance, Ma'am." Literally the most beautiful words. Bull's not going anywhere. :D

I kind of wish they gave the Inquisitor the chance to yell back "His name is not 'Hisrad', he's 'The Iron Fucking Bull'!!!"

The little dialogue after this if you're romancing him is so cute, he's all "Ready to finish this, kadan?" <3

There's some letters that suggest that the Qunari leader was acting on her own authority and not consulting with her fellow leaders as far as Dragon's Breath went. Whether that's believable or not is...fascinating.

Leaves some interesting possibilities on the table - if the plot had succeeded, the Qunari have a leaderless Southern Thedas handed to them on a platter, and if it fails (which it always will with player intervention) the Qunari can deny her actions as a rogue actor.

But poor Bull, if the Chargers were sacrificed. He's a pawn. According to Cole, he goes without regret fighting against the Inquisitor...in a fight he knows he can't win. He has nothing else, but his duty to a leader who's unworthy of him, a leader who's a bridge too far from her support.

Man I was so piss when he told me "sorry boss nothing personal" and attack me leaving with only two party members (of course this lead to me cussing him out) and then I calm down remembering on my other save file I saved the charger and my female elf romance him lol.

I let the chargers die in my playthrough for i thought this games final battle, i would have the qunari on the battlefields lol. Its crazy how a lot of us become emotionally attach to fictional characters. I only played DA 2 and dont know much about the history of this game. Iron bull was one of my favorite characters and it really broke my spirits to have to fight him at this point. I was hoping you could have wounded him but no, straight dead. The only reason i sacrifice the chargers was for that once in lifetime history alliance. I felt bad for iron bull when he speaks so calm about the alliance, then later punching the wall in sadness. When i saw him at the palace tavern in trespasser, i assume he was okay. But when i talk to him, all he said was "hey boss." I knew right then something was wrong. Then him turning against me hurt. Now i came on here to see if this was something that could be prevented and it can. I learned my lesson and never again with the qunari

I will always let the Chargers live. Why? Because the Qun need to stay the fudge away from me. They can keep their alliances.

His tarot card if you save the dreadnought. His card looks like he's in war and take over thedas with the qun. A big foreshadow for me.

I tried to make a "good" play through and ended up ruining iron Bulls life and lighting him on fire til he died, part of me wishes that I saved the charges but that was like 100 hours ago in the game -__- bioware games can be so unforgiving

I had to kill Bull here, in one of my best armours :-/

Iron Bull's comment about "giving what they need or giving what they want" during romance was a interesting subtle hint. Whether Bull is loyal or hostile to the Inquisitor depended on whether the Inquisitor gave Bull what he needed (freedom, family) or what he wanted (self-identity and sense of belonging to the Qun).

*Muffled screams in a pillow.* Thank _God_. I saw the scene where he betrays first, and I almost died inside. Glad to know I can, and will, prevent that, and get this beautiful scene.

Honestly, there is absolutely no fucking point in sacrificing the Chargers. It would be a "choice" if there was an actual, valid reward, but all you get is some influence points. In summation: this is canon.

This made me so happy but I wish there had been a little more about it. Ah well.

I love the "Ma'am" tacked on at the end. Like sure, I'm a strong independent Tal-Vashoth who don't need no Qun but I'm not about to disrespect a powerful woman!

I'm so lucky my first play-through I got this outcome. If not, I would've been screwed. My 2nd pt couldn't say I faired any better.

Fuck, he betrayed me so non-nonchalantly in my play-through. I genuinely felt betrayed.

I messed up didn’t I? I’ll have to do another playthrough to get EVERYTHING right, this game is so stressful to me and no other game really compares in that regard.

I wasn't a fan of Bull in my first playthrough, less so of the Chargers, and I decided to treat the Inquisition as the Institution it was, gathering power and what not. DA:I was my first game, so I didn't know shit about the Qun besides what Bull tells you, so I jumped at the Alliance with the Quinari without a thought. Fast foward a year later (Because I played it first on PS3 so I didn't have access to Trespasser, so I had to wait to get a PS4 to continue) and I decide to give him some love and equip him with the best I could give him right before this mission, and lo and behold I felt somewhat justified for my dislike of him when he betrayed me with the best gear I had on hand. Of course, I've come to appreciate him more with each playthrough, specially the last one where I finally managed to make him romance Dorian and got to hear more of his banter.
