How To Rig a Shark Bait

Shark fishing tips, How to rig a big shark bait using a single hook shark rig. I know this video is old but this is a great idea, I am building an RC boat to take my baits way the f out there. I think the only thing that I would do different is to run the first zip through the flemish eye and forget about the second one. I'd probably use twine that degrades as well

Press a tooth pick thru the eye of the hook into the bait ... Keeps the hook in place even mor just snip of the extra piece sticking out

Nice rig man but, if your passionate about shark fishing you would use a circle hook not that gut hook.

What size shark are you after with a bait that size?

If you use a brick for a sinker, what pound mono would you use to tie it for breakaway an where do you tie it to? I think I've seen someone tie it to the curve of the hook so the sharks teeth cut it and others say tie it to the swivel at the start of the wire

I hope you realize the cut tie straps are sharp and have been proven to poke the sharks mouth when hitting

why would you be putting plastic into the ocean? you can use cotton chord instead

You should really be using circle hooks

Dont rig it this way. He will need more weight to hold it down in the current. Not as aerodynamic in the water
